The Chapter has a long and proud history of working to restore, preserve and protect the Clear Creek watershed.
Located in west Denver, our Chapter’s home water is the Clear Creek watershed. Some examples of our work include:
- Extensive work to improve the stream in Golden called the Golden Mile
- Water quality testing and acquatic life sampling with the River Watch program
- Stream improvements at Mayhem Gulch
- Greenback restoration at Hermans Gulch
- Mine remediation and revegetation at Leavenworth Mine
