We are excited to share that our Trout in the Classroom (TIC) program,along with those of all Colorado Chapters, has been recognized as a Colorado Water Education Exemplar by the Colorado Water Center and its partners.
This distinction highlights TIC as a program that builds water literacy for young Coloradans and demonstrates educational excellence based on the Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education. It also reflects TIC’s strong alignment with the Colorado Water Plan and its impact connecting students to local waterways through hands-on learning.
We’re honored to receive this recognition and grateful to all our educators, volunteers, and partners who make TIC possible across Colorado.
