DTU participates in the Colorado River Watch water quality monitoring program. Led by WDTU member Dennis Wiles, we will start the Clear Creek River Watch sampling on April 26. The sampling on Clear Creek will be the last Wed of every month.
We will meet at the Mayhem Gulch parking lot at 9:00 AM and then car pool to the three sites. We also have two sites for Colorado Water Quality that are near Bakersville. These will be done in Sept and include bug samples. We will take two samples on Vasquez Creek. These samples will be in July and Sept and include bug samples. Information about the next sampling event can be found here.
When the additional dates are known we will notify you in advance. Last year some nice Brook Trout were caught on Vasquez Creek in July.
