Green River Fishing Trip

This is our 15th year for this trip. Fred has reserved 4 condos at the Flaming Gorge Resort (each sleeps 4 comfortably). We will be having a meeting in mid April to discuss lodging,carpooling and meals.

We usually leave about 6:00 AM on Saturday and travel to the river and fish until about 5:30 or 6. We then go the the resort and check-in. Dinner is usually at the resort that evening.  

The cost is $268 p/p for the 4 nights. In the past we have done breakfast and lunch on our own, but that can be decided by each group per condo. Dinners have been shared with each person preparing a meal for their condo mates.

Please take the time to visit the resort website Tthey offer full guide services (wading/drift boat), fly shop and restaurant. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. This website will also familiarize you with the condo layout and sleeping arrangements. There are other fly shops near the river that also offer guided trips on the river if your are interested.

To secure your spot Fred requires a $100 check. The check must be made out to Fred Portillo, not WDTU. In the event that you cannot make the trip after committing, it will be your obligation to find a replacement. If no one is found to replace you, the check will be used to defer the cost of the lodging.
