Forest Service Hosts AG Ranch Kids Day

The Pike National Forest, South Platte Ranger District, is hosting Denver Public School Denison Montessori for the 3rd annual AG Ranch Kids Day. The day is designed to introduce students to concepts of natural resource management, including recreation, fire, forestry, wildlife, and invasive species. There will be between 60-70 students plus chaperones and teachers. WDTU volunteers will be teaching about aquatic entomology and demonstrating fly fishing.
